I am sitting here kinda buzzed from the rum and coke I downed quickly, cuz for some reason I feel I must have at least a half buzz for the celebration. I must admit tho, I am struggling to stay awake. I know I am only 38, but I FEEL OLD> Especially when I am chasing after my 22 month old son. Tim' s friend is down with his 2 boys, who are 10 and 8. They are playing PSP, while we watch TV waiting for the New Year.
My only wish for the new year... Happiness. I want to rediscover what makes me SHINE. My son is helping me slowly find that. I love that his joy is in the simplest things; from putting a bottle on his head to lining his matchbox cars up in perfect rows to chasing his Percy train across the floor for hours.
